Based in Carmarthenshire I’ve been working as a furniture maker, timber framer and joiner for the past 20 years, and during that time I have had the privilege of training in Heritage Joinery at the Tywi Centre, worked for McCurdy & Co on the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse and traditional timber framing projects, and with Barry Wade designing bespoke traditional furniture and kitchens. Since starting my business almost 10 years ago I’ve become increasingly dedicated to conserving heritage joinery, and producing joinery today using the same skills and attention to detail of the master craftsmen. I am lucky to work with Matthew Sweet who has also trained at the Tywi Centre, and with other members of the traditional building network in Carmarthenshire. If you want to email or call me for an informal chat my details are listed below, and you can communicate with me in Welsh or English. At this time I am concentrating on Listed Building repairs and replacements. If you are looking for a new and traditional kitchen, there is now a charge for initial designs, dependent on size and complexity.
